Week 8 Results 2026

Most things beginning to be decided. The split bracket of Division II leads to more of a mystery in that Division. A few district title games on offer in the final two weeks. 

This Week:

Austin Regents over Brownsville St. Joseph (40-0) -- Correct
--Knights survive the long trip to the Valley and secure a tidy victory. 

Bullard Brook Hill over Tyler Grace Community (64-28) -- Correct
--Guard continue their march to a 10-0 season as their offense continues to produce. As the largest school in District 2 they will be in the large school bracket either with a bye or a home game.

The Woodlands Christian over Houston Second Baptist (14-30) -- Wrong
--Warriors have clinched the district title, but the benefits of that are unknown with TAPPS split playoffs in Division II. Eagles will be in the large school bracket, if they qualify. 

Boerne Geneva over New Braunfels Christian (57-43) -- Correct
--The Eagles offense was ready on a Thursday and set up Geneva for a district title clash with Brazos next week. Wildcats have a big game with Bay Area Christian the last week of the season that may decide 3rd, 4th, and wildcard slots.

Bryan Brazos Christian over League City Bay Area Christian (30-7) -- Correct
--Eagles not as dominant as some weeks, but comfortably set up a district title game with Geneva next week.

Episcopal School of Dallas over Arlington Oakridge (32-20) -- Correct
--Eagles with the rare two safeties in one game to virtually secure the top seed in the SPC 3A playoffs. Owls will look toward a possible rematch in a few weeks.
