This Week:

Dallas Christian over San Antonio Cornerstone Christian (42-49) -- Wrong
--Chargers drop a thriller in Mesquite. Perhaps some revenge for the 2019 OT game that went DC's way. Defense will need to improve as we move later in the season. A theme of this blog this week though will be that there is a lot of football left. Warriors with a big start to the season

Dallas Parish Episcopal over Fort Worth All Saints (35-39) -- Wrong
--A valiant comeback attempt by the Panthers, but the Saints score a huge season opening win. That may move them to favorite status in Division II given Liberty is in Division I now. Parish will have work to do, but many weeks to settle things in TAPPS largest division.

Argyle Liberty Christian over Sugar Land Fort Bend Christian (56-0) -- Correct
--The Warriors train appears to still be rolling. Given the Panthers loss above, seems like they might be the early favorite in Division I. Lots of season to play though.

Dallas First Baptist over Buckeye Union (AZ) (48-13) -- Correct
--A dominating first win for the Saints, and they'll be tough to push off the top step of Division IV.

Dallas Bishop Lynch over Dallas Bishop Dunne (49-0) -- Correct
--This can not be an encouraging sign for the Falcons. Friars with a nice start to the season that seems big district games with Parish and Liberty on the horizon.

Plano Prestonwood Christian over Episcopal School of Dallas (42-7) -- Correct
--Perhaps the forgotten members of Division I District 1 would like their due? They'll have their shot at Parish and Liberty on the district slate. The Eagles will have work to do to battle the Houston trio in SPC 4A.

Bullard Brook Hill over Redwater (31-28) -- Correct
--Guard score a nice win to open the season. Difficult district match-ups with Tyler Grace and Austin Regents await, but maybe a path to being a factor in the Division II picture.
