Week 11 Results 2022

A bit of a challenging week for the committee of one. Lots of interesting games to decide the final order of finish in many districts. The playoffs will be here next week and we'll see who gets upset at home and if the favorites were who they were supposed to be. This Week:

Bellaire Episcopal over Houston Kinkaid (6-17) -- Wrong
--The Falcons saw a thrilling 4 week stretch culminate in the SPC 4A title. Not the way things looked entering October, but Kinkaid turned the tables on the Knights in the final game.

The Woodlands John Cooper over Fort Worth Trinity Valley (63-31) -- Correct
--Dragons were the best team in SPC 3A all year and conclude an undefeated run against SPC competition.

Dallas Parish Episcopal over Plano Prestonwood Christian (42-14) -- Correct
--Another handy victory for the Panthers, but just 14-7 at the half. The Lions will have work to do to get to round 2 in Waco. Panthers remain the clear favorite in Division I.

Houston St. Thomas over San Antonio Antonian (35-38) -- Wrong
--The Apaches take down the last undefeated in Division I to secure the district title. Will be interesting to see how District 2 stacks up against District 1 in the postseason.

Grapevine Faith Christian over Dallas Bishop Dunne (28-43) -- Wrong
--Big Thursday night win for the Falcons as they force a 3-way tie for the Division II District 2 title.

Dallas The Covenant over Tyler Grace Community -- Zonk (#2 for the season)
--Really wanted to see these two 8-1 teams play. Bummer.

Bullard Brook Hill over McKinney Christian (57-14) -- Correct
--Guard dominate to secure 3rd place in District 2 and avoid the trip to Lubbock.

Arlington Grace Prep over Fort Worth Lake Country Christian (9-35) -- Wrong
--Eagles with an impressive road win to secure 2nd place in District 1. An interesting 1st round game with Brook Hill in Round 1 for Lake Country while Grace Prep heads to Dallas Covenant.
