Regional Playoff Results 2023

So many blowouts. It will set up the expected semifinals for and plenty of "known commodities" to square off spots in the title game.

This Week:

Dallas Christian over Dallas Covenant (58-19) -- Correct
--Chargers dominate the Knights again as they advance to the semifinals. Knights played tough all game, but just not enough. Lubbock Trinity should offer a little more resistance next week.

Lubbock Trinity Christian over Arlington Grace Prep (41-22) -- Correct
--Grace Prep with a very game effort as they led 22-17 late in the 1st half, but Trinity proved too much and sets up the semifinal rematch from 2022 with DC.

San Antonio Holy Cross over League City Bay Area Christian (66-6) -- Correct
--Knights continue to play their best against Division III opponents. Sets up the big showdown with Cypress for a spot in the title game.

Houston Cypress Christian over Boerne Geneva (55-6) -- Correct
--Warriors dominate to open the 2nd round of the playoffs. They'll be a tough matchup for any perspective opponents. So its the same Final 4 in Division III as we had in 2022.

Argyle Liberty Christian over Tyler Grace Community (56-7) -- Correct
--Warriors continue to obliterate the opposition this year. All Saints surprised them last year and so semifinal rematch seems fitting.

Fort Worth All Saints over Frisco Legacy Christian (43-14) -- Correct
--Saints needed most of the game to completely put away the Eagles, but ultimately wasn't close to changing the outcome. An uphill climb to take out Liberty next week, but the Saints will have their chance.

Austin Regents over Sugar Land Fort Bend Christian (27-0) -- Correct
--Knights defense leads the way as the Eagles reign as champions comes to an end. We get a return to the Regents-2nd Baptist semifinal.

Houston Second Baptist over San Antonio Christian (49-13) -- Correct
--Eagles win comfortably to get back to the semis. This will be the 5th playoff meeting in 6 seasons for the Knights and Eagles.
